just curious--my friend wants me to make him a bottlecap necklace and i'm not sure how to go about it! i know how to do some hemp jewelry but i'm not sure the best way to put in the cap or to make sure there is hemp behind it so it doesnt scratch the neck! any help is appreciated!

well... you could drill a hole in the edge of the top of the bottle cap(does that make sense?) then you could thread the hemp through it and put a bead at the bottom so that it doesn't come off then thread it back through. if you didn't want the edges of the bottle cap to scratch his neck you could pound them in just enough to kind of "round them off" with a hammer... Or you could attatch some soft fabric to the back like velvet or something.. Does this help at all (do you need me to explain it more?)??? Tell me how it goes...
